Children spend a lot of time in slippers at school, kindergarten, home or cottage. Give your children healthy and comfortable shoes, e.g. barefoot slippers. Lightweight, foot-shaped, and soft shoes allow children to move naturally, whether walking or playing on their knees and squatting.

To make your purchase as easy as possible and to avoid unnecessary shipping, we have put together a comparison of popular slippers. You won't go wrong if you start by measuring your feet correctly. Take into account the proportions of your foot and the slippers to choose the best fit. 

Comparison of sole shapes

Every foot is shaped differently, and so are the soles of the different brands and their model lines. Find out which slippers follow the shape of your foot and fit you best. They differ in the amount of space in the toe box and on the side of the big toe or little toe, as well as in the degree of bevel.

Beda classic (original) BF-060010-W

• anatomically shaped toe, with plenty of room for a dominant big toe
• less descending towards the little toe, suitable for feet with straight toes
• higher in the instep and wider in the heel
• the fastening is not so high in the instep, so they can not be tightened on a narrow ankle
• the standard version is only slightly reinforced behind the heel, but the OP version has a reinforced heel counter
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm + 2 mm tread pattern
• also available perforated (marked PF)

Beda BFN-170020/W

• anatomically shaped toe, with plenty of room for a dominant big toe
• descending towards the little toe, suitable for feet with a longer big toe and second toe
• lower in the instep and narrower in the heel
• the fastening is higher in the instep, so they can be tightened better on a narrower ankle
• the standard version is only slightly reinforced behind the heel, but the OP version has a reinforced heel counter
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm + 2 mm tread pattern

Beda ballet flats BF-060010/BA

• they are sewn on the same last as 060010/W, so they are identical in sole, only have a different cut in the instep
• the strap is higher on the instep so it can be tightened more easily on a narrow ankle. However, children with a low instep and narrow ankles will have their shoes crunched up when tightened

Beda slim BF-060010/W/02

• anatomically shaped toe box, with plenty of room for a dominant big toe
• less descending towards the little toe, suitable for toes in the plane
• high in the instep
• when tightened to the lower instep, they tend to stick out/scrunch up
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm + 2 mm tread pattern

Pegres BF (models differ only in material, not in cut)

• anatomically shaped toe box is slightly banana-shaped, with enough space for a dominant big toe or big toe pointing away from other toes
• descending towards the little toe
• higher in the instep and average in the heel, good for a fin-shaped foot with a non-bony ankle
• fastened with a wide strap, can be tightened well on narrower heels
• slightly reinforced behind the heel
• zero drop, sole approx. 3 mm, minimal tread pattern but not slippery
• available solid or perforated, in comfortable cotton or synthetic felt (not wool)

Pegres SBF

• anatomically shaped toe compared to the BF models, they curl a little at the thumb, they are not so much for the fin-shaped foot
• descending towards the little finger
• for average ankle, thicker rubber allows good tightening even for low ankle
• wide at the heel and around the ankles
• the entrance to the shoe is quite large, the belt can not be tightened to a narrower ankle
• slightly reinforced behind the heel
• zero drop, sole approx. 3 mm, fine pattern
• made of comfortable cotton
• the rubber overlapping in front of the edge makes the shoes a little more durable

Jonap

• anatomically shaped toe box suitable for a dominant big toe
• descending towards the little toe
• for average instep, ankle and heel area
• slightly reinforced behind the heel
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm + 2 mm tread pattern
• available solid and perforated

Froddo classic

• anatomically shaped toe, plenty of room for the dominant toe
• descending towards the little finger
• for average and slightly lower upper limbs
• 2 types of fastening - elastic with Velcro or more closed models (but fits the same type of foot)
• good for the fin-shaped foot - they can be tightened well around the ankles
• fastening with a wide belt, they can be easily pulled down to narrower heels
• slightly reinforced behind the heel
• nzero drop, outsole approx. 4 mm, minimal pattern, but they do not slip
  
• overall less flexible, sole the same as outdoor models
• comfortable cotton or wool felt (warmer)
• removable insole

Froddo vibram

• anatomically shaped toe, plenty of room for the dominant toe
• descending towards the little finger
• plenty of room just above the toes, the foot uses the whole space in the shoe
• for a higher instep
• good for the overall chubbier foot, they are roomy in the toes and above them, in the instep, as well as in the ankle area
• not recommended for thinner heels
• slightly reinforced behind the heel by doubling the material, but without a heel counter
• zero drop, Vibram sole approx. 5 mm, very flexible
• wool felt (may cause sensitive children to bite barefoot)
• wool has good thermoregulating properties, also antibacterial
• insole is not removable

Baby bare

• anatomically shaped toe suitable for dominant thumb
• descending towards the little finger
• for average feet in the instep, ankle and heel area
• wide in the toe section, also suitable for the fin-shaped foot
• slightly reinforced behind the heel
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm + 2 mm pattern
• perforated, suitable for hot-blooded children

EF

• anatomically shaped toe box, with plenty of room for a dominant big toe
• less descending towards the little toe, suitable for straight toes
• for average or lower instep, not suitable for chubbier feet
• firmer in the heel but not completely firm
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm with minimal tread pattern but does not slip
• closed-toe version or more opened one, perforated

3F

• anatomically shaped toe box, with plenty of room for a dominant big toe
• less descending towards the little toe, suitable for straight toes
• high in the instep
• one of the most spacious slippers, suitable for overall chubbier feet
• firmer in the heel
• zero drop, outsole approx. 3 mm, but the hem makes them look a little firmer

Bobux indoor

• narrower toe box, only suitable for narrow feet, at the same time, rotating a little to the big toe
• they are not appropriate for the fin-shaped foot, they taper a little toward the heel
• for an average and higher instep
• very soft in the heel
• zero drop, sole approx. 3 mm, minimal tread pattern but not slippery

Affenzahn

• anatomically shaped toe, plenty of room for the dominant toe
• less descending towards the little finger, suitable for flat fingers
• slip-ons suitable for lower ankle
• super soft upper material and sole
• without heel counter
• zero drop, sole approx. 2 mm, with minimal tread
• insole is not removable, but is cushioned with approx. 1-2 mm foam

Nanga

• symmetrical toe box, no anatomical shape
• but they are very soft, they adapt a little to the shape of the foot and do not squeeze it
• higher in the instep
• extra flexible, the sole is just the material of the shoe coated with an anti-slip layer of about 1 mm
• cotton or wool
