The German start-up is behind the bLIFESTYLE brand.
Ecology is key for the manufacturer. Only natural, sustainable and high-quality materials are used for production in Portugal, from GOTS-certified organic cotton from controlled cultivation to water-based adhesives. All materials are sourced in Europe, mostly vegan shoes, or at least shoes made from chrome-free or organic leather. The priority in ecology is confirmed by the company's headquarters, which draws its energy from a photovoltaic system and heats with carbon-neutral wood pellets. They pack their shipments in used boxes, even using duct tape made from recycled paper and natural rubber adhesive, so they ship their shoes vegan and plastic-free.
