Ahinsa Shoes is a Czech manufacturer of vegan shoes, founded by Lukáš Klimpera, who has been practicing yoga since his youth. After high school he successfully started an IT business, but a sedentary life at the computer only led him to a sore body and burnout syndrome. Determined to make a radical change, he started studying physiotherapy. He taught people how to walk in a healthy way, but after therapy they put their shoes back on, which constricted them and prevented natural movement. That was the impetus to start making barefoot shoes. Honest handwork, vegan materials, but also a holistic approach to human health and sustainability. Ahinsa shoes soon caught on not only among customers in the Czech Republic, but also abroad.
