#ShowMore#
Children's insulated barefoot boots for the cold winter months. The fur inside the boots will protect you from the cold. Winter boots up to size 36 in stock.
Types of winter boot insulation
According to the type of internal insulation, there are winter boots insulated:
- wool (most often sheep wool, more precisely merino wool)
- natural fur
- fake fur
- fleece
Differences of insulated barefoot shoes
Insulated barefoot shoes are characterized by:
- wider toe, compared to regular insulated boots
- low, flat and flexible sole, which makes the foot more responsive to the surface
- a slight limitation of the internal dimensions of the fur coat, compared to all-season barefoot shoes without insulation
Barefoot vs. winter
A low sole can raise concerns about whether the foot will be more cold from the surface in winter. However, the arguments for the trouble-free wearing of barefoot shoes even in winter are as follows:
- the fur gives the foot the necessary warmth and comfort
- if you feel cold, you can always buy extra thermoinsulation inserts for barefoot shoes
- in barefoot shoes the toes work more actively, which allows more blood circulation (= warming) of the foot
- if you stand motionless in the cold for hours, you will catch a cold in any shoes, it is always essential to move (at least a little)
Keeping your feet warm helps with shoe care, which increases the shoes' resistance to external conditions. We also recommend wearing warmer socks in the cold.
How to choose children's insulated shoes?
You can avoid the pre-Christmas rush in the shops by ordering insulated boots online.
- Carefully measure your child's foot so you know their current foot size.
- Add to the figure an oversize of 12-15 mm, which reflects the need for space for thick socks and the growth of the child's foot.
- Filter the calculated inner length of the shoe and the appropriate models will pop up. Optionally, narrow the selection with other filters (shoe type, manufacturer, colour, ...).
